The information on our bundle keepsake has come off in areas. How can we touch it up?
A Yes. Fortunately this has not been a major issue, but our supplies have dwindled slowly over the years. We purposely pick up the animals before dark when possible, as this has helped to almost eliminate disappearing animals. We ask that you do keep an eye on the display & inform us if the family will be leaving home for the afternoon or evening so arrangements can be made for an earlier pick-up. Also, it is helpful to prioritize our pick-up times if we are aware that the home is close to a high school or a pathway that leads to a park (which tends to increase the risk of mischief).
We know that these animals are cute but please do not keep any as a souvenir. These are strictly rentals and many of them can no longer be replaced. Please help us to be here in the years to come by keeping our flocks together & intact.
A Our delivery & pick-up times are somewhat flexible, but we may not always be able to accommodate your needs. An option for some is to pick up a small animal display from us so that you may set it up yourselves, giving you greater control over timing. [For example, you may be waiting for Joe to leave the house at 4 p.m., to return at 5 for a surprise party.] However, this is not an option for the large Bulldog or Gorilla. Please let us know what your needs are and we will try to come up with a solution that works for us all.
A That depends. Does Sue know about the party on Saturday? If she does, we could do the display on either day. If she does not know about the party, we don’t want to “tip her off” to Saturday evening’s surprise by having the display there early morning. We may wait for her to leave the house for the day. Having it on the party night will be great for photos with all her friends & family. Or, you may prefer a quiet day at home on Monday after the hectic weekend, with family photos only.
A Yes. When we return to pick up the stork, we will leave the bundle at your front door. If you do not have a safe place [such as a storm door] for us to leave the bundle, or if there is bad weather, please feel free to remove the bundle yourself. You will need a small square screwdriver to undo it at the top, then gently peel it away from the stork, as we usually apply tape to prevent it from blowing in the wind and breaking. We chose to use tape to avoid drilling a 2nd hole in the bundle keepsake that would take away from its appearance as you hang it in your home. Rubbing alcohol will remove the tape residue from the back (and it’s great for removing bandage goo)
A We suggest that you use a Grand & Toy chisel tip black marker. Other markers do not adhere to the white surface and we have found this to be the best marker ink for this surface. However, it does scratch off quite easily, so keep it out of the reach of children and your baby.
